Snowmobilers

Most common question I am asked:  Do you host snowmobilers? 

Of course!  We need to coordinate in advance to ensure access, but here's what you need to know to plan accordingly...

1. You will need to trailer your snowmobile to the trailheads for parking.   (There may be others/Ask the Mariner in Copper Harbor/Laurium is the closest which is 15 min)
2. We can accommodate a two place snowmobile trailer (possibly longer depending).  Parking is across the driveway.
3. We have a heated garage for emergency repair work and room in our spa area for heated for equipment drying.
4. We have a hot tub and sauna for warming up.  Let me know and we'll turn on the sauna so it is ready for your return :)
5. We are working on more features to make your stay SUPER comfy in the near future!

Note: You can drive from the Castle to Eagle River but you can NOT drive on our road banks and must go VERY SLOW on our road.  This is a private residential neighborhood so we don't encourage snowmobile traffic in general.

Mount Bohemia Skiers

We are an upscale option for Boho enthusiasts!   Here are some facts for those doing the planning:

1. The local airport is Houghton County Airport (CMX ) which has two direct United flights daily from Chicago O'Hare (ORD).  Booking far in advance offers the lowest rates.
2. We do not have our own shuttle service but there is a local taxi service or rental car agency you can coordinate with in advance.  Note that CMX is VERY small so advanced planning in mandatory.  Let us know if you need help!  We do know drivers...
3. The same services can be arranged for travel to and from Boho, which is a half hour away from the Castle.
4. All four suites share access to our Lake Level of the home.  Here you will find many spaces to relax and enjoy your time on site.  See the slide show below for current pictures.
